The... read more We were staying in the KOA just down the road from Ed's and we decided that we wanted some BBQ for dinner. The brisket had a great bark and was very tinder. The portions are big with a very fair price. I'm a big guy and I was stuffed after having the big brisket sandwich. My son had the 2 meat dinner with sides and left food. Ed was very personable and made you feel welcome. Great spot.

I would expect that a place that has made it MSN news with multiple high reviews would have all their items on the menu to be original homemade recipes. DO NOT ORDER THE BEANS. ED you gotta step it. I recommend the brisket sandwich. It 's great!

While the brisket and side dishes were really good, the ribs and chicken seemed a bit dry that day. The portions were generous, which was nice. I understand that every restaurant can have an off day, so I’m willing to give it another shot next time I’m in the area. Mr. Ed is a genuinely nice guy, and his dedication to his restaurant is definitely a reason to support it. The sauce was tasty; I just happened to pick a bad day for the chicken and ribs.
