The Brig - Dana Point

I had the Low Carb Burger, and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered it well done, and it arrived perfectly juicy—just right! The portions were generous as well. My only wish is that the outdoor terrace was a bit higher up.

When I visited Brig for the first time, I was a bit hesitant about their hamburger prices. I wondered how they could charge so much for a burger (and they have increased in price a bit since then). Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try and ordered one. It turned out to be the best burger I’ve ever had. Since then, I’ve tried several other items on the menu, and they’ve all been fantastic. I especially love the Calamari Steak, which makes it tough to choose between the two. Not many restaurants have a good screen, but I really like theirs. My husband always orders the breakfast burrito, but he once tried the fish and chips and said it was excellent. He often takes home half of his meal since the portions are quite generous. Their margaritas are perfect, too. The service is consistently good, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Today is my birthday, and guess where I’m headed?

This restaurant was a huge disappointment. The food was awful and incredibly overpriced. There was a complete lack of seasoning in the dishes. While the service was good, the quality of the food was simply unacceptable for the price. It doesn’t matter how convenient this place is to your hotel; I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

We have dinner and the food was very mediocre. All in my group agreed that everything was quite bland and unseasonal. The plates are big, but for how much money they ask, I expected better tasting food. Service was great, however.

Thank God I couldn't give him a zero star because I would. We going to go down to Denny's where we have better service. Has got to be the worst breakfast house I've ever been to and if you look at me I'm very adamant about giving people five stars. This place can go under for all I care. Horrible service.
