Thai This - Dana Point

Excellent food, probably some of the best Thai I have ever eaten. Not that I have been to Thailand. Just wish it wasn’t 2000 miles away from my home. Not much for Dining room or atmosphere, but food makes up for that in spades.

First time since they reopened. Back in memory lane and still delicious.

In short, some of the best Thai food we’ve had, order the curry or the seafood.In more depth, the restaurant is cute in a sort of kitschy way. A homey, neighborhood feel and an 80’s soundtrack certainly made the food all the better. There was an almost palpable excitement among the staff. Whenever an order was placed, the lead server, Madonna, exclaimed something like “Oh, so good!” I had the lamb curry special, which, if it’s on the menu, I implore you to get. Hit all the right notes, and the lamb was tender on a level that is hard to put into words. My compatriot had the Jupiter’s bounty, which had scallops and shrimp in a savory sauce, which was similarly incredible. I don’t know what else to say to convince you to go to this treasure of a restaurant, it’s some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.

Thai This is an institution. I cannot believe we are so blessed to have it right here in Dana Point! One of the best restaurants and quality I have ever experienced hands down ! From a world traveler, I can not express enough what a special dining experience this is for anyone who truly appreciates thai cuisine. Even if you don't, it's that's great! But in all seriousness, out of all the places I have been in the world THAI THIS IS HANDS DOWN TOP 3 best food there is and it's a special recipe that the owner has nailed down to a science and I applaud him in every way. BRAVO! thank you!
