We had a nice experience, lots of food and great atmosphere. Comeback! The ice “dam blanche” was huge!!!
Mouth Irrigationsburger. We have seen this beautiful little town and stumbled over this restaurant on the way to the beach. 2 children 3 adults had all burgers, children's portion was huge and the **** meat was so tasteful. The adults were well accompanied and so tasteful....Will definately return. Just what we needed after a busy day.
Visited here twice during a short stay in Damgam. In the season there is enough choice for places IF the weather is good enough to sit outside. If you are unhappy enough to experience rain or high winds like us, the city 's...capacity to seat Diners is reduced by at least 50% and things can be a bit fraught! During our first visit we ate outside as the weather was good. Like most coastal towns in France at this time of the year, the evening meal starts quite early to provide families with young children. If you are used to cosmopolitan tourist towns where food is served well in the evening, you may be caught. Everything is done quite a lot and dusted from about 20:30 So, at about 8 o'clock things started to wind, and we had no problem getting a table in a pleasant shaded spot (there were plenty of people swimming in the sea at 10 o'clock it was so hot! There are many menu choices apart from burgers, but this is what we did and we were not disappointed with what we ordered. My wife likes her quite plain with cheese while I am at the other end of the spectrum and loved everything spicy, so went for the fiery option. Both were excellent, although my wife was a little critical to the Fritten, but I had no problem with them as I was very crispy and they were! There is a pretty good wine list for what is essentially a Burger community and we had a very reasonable red for about 19 euros. The quantities were much without intimidation, but since we had lunch earlier on the day, we had 't a desert, but again there's a good choice including crepes that are local delicacies and served in most restaurants in Brittany and beyond. During our second visit the weather could not have been different, were we in the same country as two days before? Every place to eat was packed marmalade when sitting outside was impossible, apart from a party of Lads who were obviously so wet on the inside that they didn't make it wet on the outside! We were lucky when we came to the Beef Burger, a party of four was just left, so we just waited until the table cleaned and sat down. We were a bit drunk and faced with an inquiry to order we just went with the same choice as before sad readers, we failed you! In summary, I would like to say that the staff was really friendly, all talked a little English and we speak a little French so that the Franglais had fun, service was pretty quick to think about how busy it was on both occasions. I think it was slightly expensive for but you dress it up, it's burger and fries at the end of the day, but certainly not much more than anywhere in Damgan and actually a fair bit cheaper than some of its competition, which more about prices usually in sea France than this restaurant especially. So, recommended, but with a cost advantage, enjoy!
I have two wild vegetarians and the staff went out to help. The food was freshly cooked to a very good standard and everyone in our party from six aging from 16 to 80 all enjoyed their meals. If we return to this part of Brittany (what we will) another visit is a certain one.
