Fantastic no frills eatery that?s affordable and generous with the portions. I only spent $15 for a bowl of soup, hot tea and a large delicious dish of mixed vegetables and rice that would? ve was good for two people. Taped the server $5 because they keep it coughing. Room has high ceilings and seating is far apart, so the chatter is too charming instead of annoying. I personally love when a place is really just abou... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Red Bowl Noodles:
I haven 't been Red Bowl for couple years after moved another city, came back give it a try again restaurant is not the same from five years ago, the quality of the foods gone down. Both dishes we try was tasteless, the restaurant manager (lady boss) about the taste, she said I can add fish sauce or salt for you . The prices has gone up, the foods quality has gone down!! I had some Chinese food on my way back from a gig, so I decided to stop by this restaurant. The portions for both the pot stickers and beef chow fun were generous.
This is a fantastic no-frills restaurant that's both affordable and generous with its portions. I only spent $15 for a bowl of soup, hot tea, and a large, delicious plate of mixed vegetables and rice that could easily serve two people. I even tipped the server $5 because they were so attentive despite their cough. The room has high ceilings and the seating is spread out, so the conversations are charming rather than distracting. I really appreciate places like this that focus solely on the food.
This is a fantastic little noodle shop! The service is consistently friendly, and the prices are great. The portion sizes are generous. I've been coming here for years, and although they recently raised their prices, the quality of the food makes it well worth it.
GREAT PLACE FÜR EATING MANY KINDS of NOODLES. MY FAVORITE ist klasse NOODLE SOUP und WON TON SOUP. TENDON SOUP.
Red Bowl Noodles sets the standard for delicious and affordable comfort food. Live in the Bay Area and you will likely get a lot of cold fog rolling in. The weather makes red bowl noodles a prime place to enjoy a large serving of authentic Chinese dishes. Aesthetically, it?s unassuming. There?s nothing that stands out from the inside or outside. But the food stands out. Their noodles are a hit. Come here and intend to eat family style. It?s the best way to try every kind of dish on the menu. For the table, I ordered the Fried Daikon with Egg. It?s a surprisingly filling dish, slightly crunchy, and tasty with the sauce. I also ordered the #13, the Beef Stew Rice Stick Soup. This dish is definitely a standout. It?s large, spicy, hot, and meaty. The meat is tender, the tendon a delicious fatty treat, and the carrot is so sweet. But what brings the dish together is the Rice Stick, which is just a wide flat noodle. It Is so satisfying to slurp up the noodles and catch the flavor of the broth. I tried the Combination Egg Noodle Soup too, but it doesn?t compare to the Rice Stick. Other surprising dishes in this restaurant are the $1 Thai tea, which is almost unreal. Come here for a comforting meal and don?t break the bank either. Support small businesses and give them a try.
