I stopped by this little gem today. The chicken wings are some of the best I ever had and the Belgian waffle was perfect. The greens could use a little help but overall I enjoyed it. Definitely recommend. I wish I had known about this place when I first arrived for vacation. I would love to have seconds but unfortunately I’m leaving tomorrow. Please support this business!!! this is good for the unholy time of night that we went to visit but they were out of mac cheese, which was our main reason for coming here that was a real letdown a blow to the chest. The chicken is pretty good and the waffles are really good as well. Just super sad that they were out of mac cheese. Parking: we were lucky in. Good local fried chicken. Hand made on the split fresh. No frill dining experience for great food
A little bit of a frustrating experience here. Apple Maps showed there was one of these in San Bruno, nearly on my way home. Go there, park, walk up — it’s closed, completely torn down. Don’t know if they’re establishing shop there or closing that location but it was a waste of my time. I’m in it to win now, so I drive to the Daly City location. Very hole-in-the-wall. Soda machine doesn’t work, door doesn’t close all the way, none of the TV’s they have are on. The whole place seems to not match the quality of the website they have. I place my order with a latina, she says it will be 15 minutes — understandable. The price for a plate was $18, so for two $36… my bill was $50 and I have no clue how it got there, no add ons by me. They made the order within the time, provided a bag, and I was off. When I got home, everything was still hot. The waffles themselves are as advertised and so is the chicken. The tenders were a little tough, though. The sides of yam and mac were obviously made beforehand and just heated up. Seeing that there was only me in there when I ordered, it makes sense. The food was alright, just given the website quality and faux location on AM it soured my experience. I might come back. Parking: Very limited street parking in front of business.
My family and I LOVE the chicken and waffles here. We come here often to eat after church or during the week when we don’t feel like cooking. We like to get the 8 peice family meal. It’s great for our family of 4. The Chicken is perfectly seasoned and tasty. The fires are perfect, the yams are really good. I usually get a sweet potato waffle and it’s sooo rich and tasty. As much as I love this place I would not recommend the Mac n cheese. It’s not my preferred texture. And the cherry on top of this meal is the Kool-Aid OMG It’s fantastic. Over all if you’re a fan of good fried chicken and waffles this place will not let you down. It’s delicious and it’s a staple restaurant for me and my house hold.
Keith's keeps it real. This is the best damn fried chicken ? and waffles this side of the Mississippi, ya feel me? The first bite into that chicken breast and you're in heaven. Follow up with some candied yams ? and a big Kool-Aid ?. Oh Yeah!!
The mac n cheese werent good, but the waffles and chicken strips were good
