Dalton Dari-ette
Dalton Dari-ette
Description
An enduring Dalton favorite, this roadside sweet shop charms locals and travelers with nostalgic, standout milkshakes and a wide ice cream selection. Set beside an open-air market on a busy highway, its casual, family-friendly atmosphere and outdoor seating make it a warm‑weather tradition. Food beyond ice cream is hit-or-miss: some items shine but fries and sandwiches can be inconsistent and service occasionally slow despite recent POS improvements. Expect crowds and long lines, but memorable desserts keep patrons returning.

While $4.00 for a small serving of fries might seem pricey, I understand that prices are generally high these days, so I won't hold it against them. They still deserve 5 stars, as always!
I've been visiting this restaurant since the 1980s, and it always brings back fond memories. Recently, I tried the maple milkshake, and it immediately reminded me of the times when my grandpa made homemade maple ice cream. The flavor was spot on! I've also had their peanut butter banana milkshakes, which are equally delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nostalgic treat or simply a fantastic milkshake!
