My son and i enjoyed everything we ordered. I left there stuffed. Shrimp and grits 10/10 , burger and fries 10/10. He also said his peach cobbler was delicious. It came with coffee bean ice cream. The server was awesome. He made sure we were well taken care of out on the patio. View all feedback.
What T M doesn't like about The Market Cafe At Bonton Farms:
I drove from Ft Worth to visit because of their cause. However, their service needs major improvement. The food was ok and the menu is restrictive on the weekends cant sub for a different veggie even if its the same price). Unfortunately I don't see myself visiting again nor recommending aanyone any time soon. I hope they improve. View all feedback.
Pros: the cornbread crusted catfish plate and Mac n cheese were really good. The elder lady who was at the host stand was very sweet and accommodatingCons: the lady who served me was not friendly at all. First, she made me wait 30 minutes before I could place my order because she was busy having a casual conversation with another patron. I had to ask another younger girl (who was nice btw) to take my order. My main server was not attentive, had an attitude from the very first moment she came to my table and was super nonchalant.Another con, the collard greens were bland. Surprisingly, as I was expecting much more flavor in them
Paige was so engaging, courteous, and personable — by far some of the best service I’ve had in NOLA. Live music was amazing too!
Need to update the menu. Order breakfast item from the menu that was way different. Didn't get what was ordered. Also breakfast menu is very limited. Need more breakfast choices.
Great place for lunch. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and truly enjoyed the environment.Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids.
The food is fresh and absolutely delicious! The service is attentive, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the farm. They provide plenty of information about it. The atmosphere fosters a genuine appreciation for farming. Don't forget to visit the farm and market to buy coffee and fresh farm products after your meal at the café. It's a hidden gem in Dallas that offers a fantastic farm-to-table experience.
