A clean, moderately priced hotel, conveniently located just a few miles from Dallas Love Field Airport. The check-in process for me was a breeze. Gabby was working at the front desk at the time of my check in and she was absolutely amazing! Answering any questions I had and simply going above and beyond for her guests. What J H doesn't like about Sheraton Lobby:
I wish I would have read some of these reviews prior to booking my stay. Room was good. Bed was clean. Shower and one towel had long hair on it. The floor had dust bunnies in the corners The staff member, Ericka had a horrible attitude. She should not be guest facing and should be coached immediately. I had two interactions with her and both were unpleasant. View all feedback.
It had ants on the counter it was awful they had ants in a corner and on the food I hate it SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the worst hotel experiences I've had. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very nice staff who got us a room, key info and sent us on our way. We were tired after traveling all day and just wanted to rest, but to our surprise once we made it to our room, we notice other people stuff already inside. Thank God no one was in there, but they essentially gave us the key to a room someone had already been in. I booked this room previously days ahead via the app, and everything was confirmed and paid for. We were obviously upset and went back down to the front desk for them to fix it. They were sorry and tried their best reconcile. We paid for a two bedroom with a balcony and a view. However, the second room we got was on a much higher floor did not have a balcony and did not have working lights in one of the bedrooms! At this point we went back down to the front desk for a second time to say this is not the kind of room that we ordered, and that the electricity was out. Finally after our third time getting a new room did we get the only paid for only to find extensive water damage in the bathrooms. We were too tired to go back down and say anything and we would only be there for a few hours so we just slept. We tried to sleep best we could, but we heard children screaming, and running down the halls. This place is a madhouse. To be a Marriott I am completely shocked by the service, upkeep and overall presentation. To be fair this was a cheaper room with rate about 180, however for $200 total and having the Marriott name, this was a total and utter waste of money. I will not return. And I won't be booking anymore Marriott hotels.
My first trip to Dallas, TX and I must say that this hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Not only did it smell unclean, it felt unclean, oh that's because it was UNCLEAN!! (see photo's attached) Please, Please, Please DO NOT USE THE POOL!!
The guest rooms (suites) themselves are comfortable, although kind of small, and come equipped with a mini fridge and microwave which is always an added plus in any hotel. If you're an elite Bonvoy member, there's a lounge on the lobby level of the hotel with refreshments and snacks throughout the day. If you're in need of things to do, Medieval Times is right next door as well as plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops just within walking distance.
BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL IT IS A HOT SPOT FOR CAR JACKERS!!! Checked in at 1am, paid 24$ in parking, then went to my car in the morning 9am to find my catalytic converter stolen from the parking lot. You could see my car from the FRONT DEST, literally INSIDE the front of the hotel. Their security has no cameras, furthermore, the security company and the hotel has nothing to do for me, both are avoiding any responsibility to allowing negligence like that in their parking lot (simply park at your own risk, so of course there 's no security cameras to protect you) The police won 't show up because there 's no cameras. If there 's a security car driving around, how did something like this happen in front of the hotel? Hotel manager and front desk were fully prepared to ignore my problem, which they did with HASTE, and simply asked for room payment and literally told me to have a nice day . Refused to admit other cars had been vandalized, and from a look around the parking lot I saw FIVE other cars with their mufflers on the ground, also IN FRONT of the hotel . But the hotel WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL IT IS A HOTSPOT FOR CAR JACKERS!! I payed 250 total for a room/parking. The room with a painted, chipped, rusting, tub- terrible jet water pressure. All the ice machines were not working due to being serviced . Furthermore, I 've been stuck in their parking lot arranging a tow for hours, and even the corporate office has nothing to say. Came here for a funeral and I 've already missed the memorial service because of dealing with this massive problem. I will never get that time back thanks to this hotel. This company does not understand customer service or even empathy. My car received nearly 2000$ In Damages for a stay in a seriously overpriced, lack luster hotel, that doesn 't care at all about you. Not to mention my time out of work getting it repaired in Dallas because I live in Houston- now my funeral trip has been extended almost an entire week because of one regrettable stay. BUYER BEWARE!!!
