We were curious about checking out the Summer House, so went with friends. The concept is fun and definitely with summer vibes. Food Menu is same as their original, with some specials. Flatbreads are great, thin and good flavor. Tried the Órale drink, too sweet for me, the Amante Picante Margarita was smokey and spicy, what I was looking for. What Abigail Rufer doesn't like about Leela's Pizza Wine Lowest Greenville:
The website clearly states they close at 11 on weekends and yet around 10:05 the management started forcing people to leave. On top of that our waiter acknowledged the building was open until 11-12AM but after that a different woman came and told us the website is wrong and they close at ten. She had black hair and was extremely rude. Worst service I’ve ever received. View all feedback.
This was an amazing experience! It is a nice, pleasant environment that is conducive to socializing with your group or significant other. The wine and drinks were good. The pizza was fantastic!!! We tried several and despite a setback in the kitchen (they ran out of red sauce! Both the original and modified pizzas were delicious. In addition, due to the setback, they brought out dessert and the chocolate torte and cookies were INCREDIBLE! HIGHLY recommended!! We will definitely come back.
Cute decorations for Valentine’s pop up. Mean Girls was playing on the TV and the wine bar was decorated in all pink. It is fitting that they selected Mean Girls to play as the staff was extremely rude. The hostess blatantly lied to other guests about being at capacity. She had 3 available spots. 2 guests decided to leave and a couple walked in after and she told them there were full. While at the bar, my friend ordered espresso 3 martinis for our group. I was not aware because we were standing at different spots at the bar. I also ordered 3 espresso martinis for out party . When her drinks were delivered I went and told him I am so sorry I also ordered drinks. He was visibly upset. I offered to pay for them, but he sent the newly made ones to another party. There were pink disposable straws at the bar and I asked my friend’s fiancé to hand me one. I have sensitive teeth so I need to use straws when drinking sugary drinks. The bartender got mad at him because they “count the straws”.My friend went to order a second drink and the bartender said she was slurring her words and couldn’t be served. We were confused. She went to Javier’s for dinner with her aunt and had 1 margarita 3 hours prior. My friend was not slurring her words. The bar was so loud I couldn’t even hear the bartender fully. My friend was not drunk. When I asked the manager what happened she told me “ your friend left her phone in the table outside and it’s a sign of being drunk. My friend has ADD and leaving keys, phones etc is a normal occurrence for her. The manager also said “she smells like alcohol.” If you smell like you were at a BBQ restaurant, does that mean you over ate BBQ?If you want to be treated poorly by restaurant staff, check out Leelas. They deserve a 0 star. This is my first negative review I have ever written about a business.
Service was good, not stellar, a few times we were needing help to order and couldn’t get our server to look at our table when passing by. I must say, the music is a miss! It was constantly changed between lounge, Latin, from one song to the next. Hard to tell what concept was wanted and very noticeable. The volume would change as well, it threw us off. Pick a rhythm and keep it consistent at least for a few hours.
Leela’s was so cute and perfect for a girls day. I was surprising shocked that not only were the drinks good but the pizza was also pretty good. It was a bit smaller than I anticipated but definitely manageable for the crowd it drew. The bartenders were super nice and engaging so it was an overall nice experience. I don’t have many complaints but I would like to visit here again and try their famous espresso martini.
My partner and I brought my parents here for two reasons: my mom loves wine and they love the show Futurama (iykyk). It’s right down the street from our house and we had yet to try it. Let me tell you, this had to be one of the best places I have been maybe in the entirety of Dallas since moving here. We were lucky enough to go on a slower Tuesday evening and still the tables were relatively full. The ambiance is divine upscale but not stuffy. Leaning toward a feminine vibe but doesn’t feel exclusive to any group or makes anyone uncomfortable by any means. We ordered a variety of drinks that were all different but delicious. We found out they had pizza and tried a variety of the flavors. My family are quite the pizza critics and there were absolutely no notes, other than “more please!”. That night, they happened to run out of a pizza ingredient and ended up offering us multiple options, comping some desserts and pizza for us for the inconvenience, all of which were phenomenal. The service was incredible everyone was so kind, had good tips and tricks around the menu and the bar, and even took my movie recommendation for the tv. All around, this was such a phenomenal experience and I would literally bring anyone here. Even my partner who is a bit of a food critic had no critiques! There haven’t been many places that we’ve been impressed with on the strip, so to be blown away like this was such a refreshing surprise. A must visit in Lowest Greenville, do not pass this amazing place up!
