I think it's overpriced, but the chicken and bacon fried rice is soooo good. It was a big enough portion that I got dinner and lunch out of it. We placed an online order at about 6:10, it said it would be ready at 6:55 (which is already a while imo), and then when we got there it still wasn't ready for another like 15 minutes. So I probably won't order to-go again. But like I said... that fried rice is incredible. View all feedback.
What AVGTXN doesn't like about Hei Hei American Chinese:
Wednesday night. My beef/broccoli was pretty good. I'd suggest bringing the rice separately so it doesn't get bogged down in the sauce. My wife's vegetables and rice were pretty standard too. I'd like to see them bring out the fried noodles that Royal China brings out as an opener. I hope they can expand their menu. Service was attentive. The place has great potential, and I hope it survives. View all feedback.
It's fresh, but not flavorful. It's like it should marinate a little longer. Happy hour is gone, which makes it not worth the price. Drinks are full of sugar. Crab Rangoon dip is the way to go
The menu isn’t any better. The salad was a joke. The chicken nuggets were so dry my daughter almost choked.

This was our first order from Hei Hei. We have been excited about a new place in the neighborhood. The Lo Mein was tasty, according to my hubby, tho he had to microwave it. We would rather show up at the designated time and have to wait a few minutes than take home cold food. My mandarin salad was meh. The chicken was cold and tough. Nothing special about the greens. Plenty of orange slices, but zero effort was made to remove seeds. Oddly, the fortune cookies were stale. They add $1 per item for pickup (including sides) plus an additional fee. Overall, mediocre and overpriced.
Great place! Great food! First visit and was definitely not disappointed. Service was great. Food was fresh and really good! Kung Pow Chicken was very good. Kids meals are great and good portioned and reasonably priced. There is a game room for kids too! Definitely making this a regular spot! You should give them a try!
