Vetted Well - Dallas

Went there Friday night with my wife and my daughter and son-in law. Drinks and employees were fine-no complaint! Great band (Elvis T Busboy- Blues band) The biggest disappointment was their food. The pizza literally tasted like an uncooked lunchable, we then ordered nachos-omg! The chips had a burnt taste to them. The onion rings were good and the hot wings were not too shabby. I still tipped off of the pizza even though she removed it from my ticket. Very nice staff!!!! Great place for a sports bar to drink and socialize but eat before going. The food or the chef (cook) has to change before we can eat there again.

I truly like this spot, it?s really cool, unique, and catered to a local crowd, but sadly it seems the bartenders are trained to mislead their customers. I was told their Texas Tuesday?s meant that they have $2 pints and then confirmed that with the bartender serving on Tuesday. However when I went to tab out, they informed me that it actually meant $2 off on Tuesdays. This is after I had asked and confirmed the $2 draft with 3 bartenders on separate days. Disappointing to say, but it seems they care more about making profit then they do about making regulars.

I visited this place thinking it was just a bar since it’s connected to the Alamo Drafthouse, but I still had a great time! I didn’t catch the bartender's name, but he was really laid-back and enjoyable to chat with. I will definitely be returning, perhaps to catch a movie and enjoy a drink too!

We ordered bottomless popcorn and two drinks, but after waiting for an hour with no sign of our snacks, I felt the need to express my concerns. Unfortunately, all I got in response were excuses! Eventually, after an hour and a half, a bowl of popcorn was placed on our table, but our drinks were still missing. They did manage to bring one beer, but the soda was still absent. So, I asked again! After nearly two hours, I finally received a drink. When I asked for a second bowl of popcorn, the waiter looked like he was about to lose it! It’s safe to say that I won’t be returning!

The manager, Karen, and the server, Alyssa, were exceptional. In a time when quality customer service is becoming scarce and genuine friendliness is hard to come by, I found both at Vetted Well. I highly recommend this restaurant.
