First, let me just say WOW! Yesterday was my first time hearing of and eating at this restaurant. I was very impressed! The customer service was exceptional. Nique was so fun and easy going at the register. She made me feel like family. I met her father, the greatest cook on this side of Heaven, and he recommended the poboy hot sausage sandwich with cheese…. WHEW! It was delicious. I will definitely be going back. Th... The Gumbo was great and fish/shrimp combo was excellent!!!
I moved to DFW from NOLA many years ago and have been searching for a NOLA dish called yakamein, but have been unable to find it in the area. That is, until I discovered Sweet Grass Market through a Google search. Unfortunately, when I arrived at this amazing restaurant, they were sold out of yakamein and hot sausage poboy. Instead, I ordered the crawfish étouffée and a shrimp poboy. I have a fondness for étouffée from South Louisiana, and Sweet Grass’ version was exactly what I was looking for - delicious! The shrimp poboy tasted as if it were made in NOLA. I will definitely be returning to try the yakamein and hot sausage poboy in the future.
I stopped by this restaurant after driving and was impressed by the charming atmosphere. The food was delicious! The two girls working there were delightful to talk to. I will definitely be returning soon!
I didn't know this restaurant served food until I saw it on Instagram. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic catfish poboy. The wait wasn't too long and the food tasted fresh. It's a bit expensive, so it's not something I could afford everyday, but I would definitely come back if I could. I am excited to return and try more dishes, and I hope to see your business continue to grow.
I moved to Dallas-Fort Worth from New Orleans many years ago and was craving a New Orleans dish called yakamein, which I hadn't been able to find anywhere in the DFW area. That is until I discovered Sweet Grass Market through a Google search. Unfortunately, when I arrived at this fantastic restaurant, they were already sold out of yakamein. They were also out of the hot sausage po'boy. So, I decided to order the crawfish etouffee and a shrimp po'boy instead. Being from South Louisiana, I am very particular about my crawfish etouffee, and Sweet Grass's version was exactly to my liking! It was absolutely delicious! The shrimp po'boy also tasted like it was straight from New Orleans. I will definitely be returning to Sweet Grass, hopefully to try the yakamein and hot sausage po'boy next time. Great job, Sweet Grass! ???
