Rex's Seafood And Market - Dallas

What a wonderful experience! Great service and fantastic seafood! If we lived in Dallas, this would be a weekly requirement.

Best seafood in the DFW area. Their daily menu offers enough diverse choices that even the picky eaters will be happy.

Being at Rex's makes me feel like I'm in a coastal town and then I leave and walk outside and get depressed, so thanks for that, Rex's. In all seriousness I really love this spot and they have some stellar seafood, as fresh as it gets when landlocked in DFW. Here's what I can speak to: Shrimp cocktail: big beautiful shrimp, perfect texture, perfectly cleaned, served with lemon and cocktail sauce. So simple and so good, 5/5. Tuna tartare: gorgeous pieces of delicious raw tuna, topped with a little avocado and sesame seeds, served with wonton chips. We ate it all immediately. Coconut shrimp: I didn't eat this since it isn't gluten free, but it smelled insanely good and everyone else loved it. Oysters: we let our lovely server select our lovely oysters and they too were gone within 10 minutes... served with all the classic accoutrements. Wine: I don't remember the bottle name but I had a few pours of a top notch Pinot Grigio that went perfectly with all our seafood!

Sooo. I picked this place to the birthday. the sea bass was raw with some cold Asian dressing thrown up. I'm probably not going back. High-dollar dishes should not be treated so badly. they offered to replace it, but we decided to go on. I was also not impressed by the others, they were simple. ok, besides my raw seabarsch was one, the smallest grape deomatin I have ever seen was cut into two slices. one, just to say, and it wasn't ripe.

We love the food and the service was great. We went there for a late lunch. The food was very fresh and wonderfully delicious. Not only the seafood was great the fresh seafood counter had a nice selection of seafood cuts. We will be going there again very soon
