Proof Pantry - Dallas

Too many gnats flying around the restaurant. Very distracting and makes one wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen.

A must if you are in Dallas. Exec Chef Nick H has an amazing menu and the staff know how to make the dinning experience a great night out. Will definitely visit again ASAP

Took 50 minutes to get our food. We got there 1.5 hours before a show at the Winspear, and we couldn't enjoy our meal because of how slow the service was and we almost missed our show. Completely unacceptable.

We were on our way to a performance at the Winspear Opera House. We were running late that evening and desperately needed a restaurant that was close by. For previous performances I always book our favorite restaurants for dinner before the performance. But this time, I had other things distracting me and I had stupidly forgotten to make reservations ! for dinner. Soooo at the last minute I checked all the usual restaurants near the venue. I called and called, only to be repeatedly told that they were each fully booked. I was about to give up, but stumbled across a restaurant I was unfamiliar with called Proof Pantry. It was wonderful! Fortunately, it was within easy walking distance to the Winspear. The ambiance was fun the waiter was charming and the food was great!

Restaurant week at Proof and Pantry ROCKS. Each course is better than the one before.
