We dined at this restaurant for the first time for Father's Day. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It felt upscale in decor and atmosphere and the full-bar area looked like a place I'd like to return to. Service was very good also. Everyone was impressed with their meals and we had an enjoyable time. Would definitely return. View all feedback.
What Garrick Leffler doesn't like about Patrizio's- McKinney Ave:
je. liter worstal a waiter for the whole restaurant. there were about 40 children for home. no bartender. the wine list and the menu were from the date. we waited 30 minutes and no one took our order, so we went and went to another restaurant. View all feedback.

Maybe the worst restaurant I had. the goat cheese salad was good, but we should have stopped there. the gorgonzola birne prosciutto walnuts and caramelized was ridiculously bad. there was no pear, the bottom was cold and dry the prosciutto was cut thicker than speck and harder than ruck the gorgonzola was baked dry in the floor and the caramelized swirls were sweetened with grill sauce.
Made a reservation on Labor Day only to show up and find them closed. Other parties were also showing up as well. Someone screwed up.
I hadn't visited Patrizio's since it relocated to McKinney Avenue. With family in town, we decided to bring everyone to a casual yet upscale restaurant. It was quiet, with only two tables of diners and no background music, creating a slightly stale atmosphere. The service and food were enjoyable, but the lack of patrons made for an odd dining experience.
The valet told us that the restaurant was going out of business and I can see why. It's not the same as it was in HPV and not even close to what it could be in this location. Food was mildly hot it took forever to be waited on and when we were waited on the one and only waiter twitched around like it was the busy and happening restaurant like it use to be. (There wasn't more than a dozen people there the whole 2 hours it took us to eat) It's really sad to see a Dallas institution spiral to its death. I wish I would have spent my birthday at a different restaurant and savored my good memories of what it use to be.
