Open Palette - Dallas

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I was the second person to order in a large group and I simply ordered a bowl of soup. Unfortunately, they brought the wrong order and when they took it back, my food didn't arrive until the rest of my table was almost done with their meals. I had already canceled my order by then, but they still tried to bring it to me. I couldn't understand why it was so difficult for them to just pour a ladle of soup.

I had a fantastic Valentine's dinner and I am excited to return.

Service was not great, appetizer brought with meal. Kinda slow overall, but friendly. As far as value, quite a disappointment. $42 for a 4oz piece of short rib and polenta seems excessive. Flavors were nice though.

So I was in the Sheraton for the night and I travel to many states as a flight attendant, I had the pleasure of enjoying this delicious Kobe beef burger while there. I mentioned being a flight attendant only as it’s become the norm to order food upon arrival after a long day and not wanting to have to go far away with quick turnarounds the next morning. Having had numerous burgers from a plethora of hotels this one has left a mark as one of my top spots I must visit again on a layover as I truly enjoyed this burger. This is the fancier spot to dine and the hotel has a Draft bar location in it as well bud I am glad I came here to eat. The decor and seating are spectacular, the service is top notch. If staying the night at this hotel definitely stop in for a bite.

Really enjoying my time at the Open Pallete I arrived at the hotel much earlier than my roommates and this was the perfect place to grab a bite. I had the kale salad which was delicious Cold drinks came with biodegradable agave straws. My server Eloy was kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable of their unique menu I wish I could afford 1 of everything! and truly went above and beyond There is also a bar with a wide variety of drinks, large televisions sports , subtle music, and warmly lit vibe. Just what I needed and more while I wait Definitely recommend if you're staying at or near the Sheraton Dallas!
