We’re all BBQ lovers,... read more Not normally in this area of Dallas, but was going to meet our out-of-town friends nearby and they wanted us to choose a place to go eat. We’re all BBQ lovers, so I started Googling for a place near our destination, and read good reviews about Maple Landing.We were not disappointed in the least! Great atmosphere, and the food was “EXQUISITE”! Top that with the great service we received, and you can bet we’ll be back again soon!!! Some of the best brisket I’ve ever tasted; all six of us ate a different plate, and all agreed that it was the BEST! The prices were VERY good for the overall quality of the dining experience!!

I paid for extra slaw and extra sauce on my brisket sandwich, which I did not get. I also requested lean brisket, because I cannot stomach really fatty meat. What I got was mostly fat and I couldn't eat it. So I paid $20 for brussel sprouts (which were just okay... they were nicely roasted, but soaked in a weird-tasting sauce). My dad ordered the brisket and sausage plate with potato salad and brussel sprouts. We didn't get the extra sauce we paid for on his meal, either. His brisket was also pretty fatty, but he didn't mind and said the flavor was good. He liked the potato salad, but didn't care for the brussel sprouts and said the sausage was fine, but nothing special. Overall, I was looking forward to some good barbecue and was really disappointed by the attention to detail of the service and the quality of the food. Definitely not hard-earned money well spent.

T... read more This is a neighborhood type of restaurant. I had tried the turkey burger, which was very good, and the actual bun was very moist with all the dressings on it. The mac and cheese was made with a type of white cheddar and some other type of cheese with bigger shells. It just needs a little bit more seasoning, but it wasn 't too bad.The homemade chips weren 't too bad, but I would like to go ahead and try there. I believe bread pudding next time. They did have a drinking list, which was a huge list to drink from, but I 'm not a drinker. I am a kimchi lover, but I was told it 's americanized. I told him, "Never mind I rather have the real thing not watered down. It 's not fun if you have another cultural food that 's watered down taste. Try it like it 's supposed to be not what it is not supposed to be like.My server name was Amir... which I thought he was saying I was here, and I said yes, I know I can see you, LOL?... he was very kind and sweet. There 's someone else to whom I 'm not sure if he was management.... but had glasses on and had a hair color, such as Duran Duran Nick Taylor would have back in the days. He was friendly also.The atmosphere was very laid back, and they had outdoor seating. I did wish they had the mist sprayers that can lightly spray the water on you, which would be on a timer. It 's very humid outside right now. There weren 't a lot of people around, so I made it kind of nice to sit and just listen to something on Youtube while enjoying the atmosphere.Parking: I would say during the day is easy to find a parking spot but they do have a signage up to tell you if it 's over full to go to the next lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it looks like they do have wheelchair access.

Great vibes and the food was delicious. I will have to bring hubby and some friend to come and try it. I was sooo stuffed. The staff and management were super nice and welcoming. They also have a game room in the back with pooltables, darts, and a fusball table.

We got a brisket melt, po... read more Atmosphere is relaxing and open. Our server, Meg, was kind, prompt and knowledgeable on the menu and super patient with our questions. We got a brisket melt, pork melt and brisket baked potato with fries and elote. Everything was delicious. Hence mypics are after we dove in because we were starving and everything was fresh and tasty. Great recommendations Meg! Also, themanager came by twice to check in on us which was very cool. This was my second visit and can't wait for my third in the nearfuture.
