My wife and I reserved a table for 2 for our 19 wedding anniversary. The waiter was really nice and suggested some amazing dishes and cocktails for us to enjoy. This will be another date night spot for us to visit. View all feedback.
What JenniferC doesn't like about Elm And Good:
Disappointed in service and food wont go back based on thos exp. Appetizer we ordered was the kolaches and they came out 20 minutes if not more after we ordered them. Our entrees came out right after the appetizer was served. I asked if ther cougive 20 minutes before entrees. They honored my request brought the food out at 1:40. However, my brisket Benedict the poached eggs weren’t runny and the brisket was over cook... View all feedback.
Location was great, restaurant was beautiful, service was great. The Waguu steak was delish, and so were the mussels/clams appetizer. The salmon was really good but smaller in size and had no side with it. A lot of the items didn’t have sides, and as expensive as is the menu is, a side would have been nice. And maybe a few more options of sides. The short rib/brisket burger was phenomenal, but the sauce leaks out and so whole bottom bun was soggy. I got the mushrooms as my side and 100% would not get them again. They were big long mushrooms with a bland taste, no seasoning to them. I ate two and didn’t finish anymore. Overall we we’re somewhat satisfied, drinks were good and bartender was great too. But for the price, the food wasn’t what I expected and hoped it would be.
I am a diamond elite member who travels for business and stays in the Kimpton-Pittman hotel. I get free vouchers to try this place to the breakfast, and the service is terrible. let's start calling the hotel reception and ask if there was a dress code, no, not at all, they enjoy coming there with my man and knowth let me know specifically that I don't wear without shoes, sock at, but no shoes is not allowed in what osha manual or law says they have to wear shoes in a hotel restaurant. they are not law in all the Usa. for the rest of the time that we order here our food after we got shoes, he did not speak with us all the time, wrote our commands, never gave us filling and tried to give me a scar. not to realize that I was a diamant elite member and I don't have to pay him his $78. the lessons learned especially the personal (kenneth) is very rude and respectful, not a friendly, casual environment as they say. we didn't cost the experience. my man and I both have the American breakfast, over simple eggs are fully cooked, ruched are abandoned watery, kartoffels have no taste, the speck was great, served with a side of arugula, the sour and bitter, they will not ever give them a refill they keep water on their table, and they will be a side plate of different sauces that stay out and set for hours and it. not eat! rude service and bad quality eat! we are very disappointed!
My man and I participated in the toasty nye event in elm good. I was very disappointed in many areas. we came for the 5-speed dinner that was all in order. the caviar and oyster first cure was super fresh and bursting with taste. the crudite second curs was also very delicious, but I was very disappointed when I realized that I served food that I am allergic. all my allergens are listed on opentable and I made the server attentive to my allergies before the meal. for the price of this experience and the caliber of this restaurant I would expect more love to detail, especially if this reservation has been made in advance. the pasta course was in order, while the venison and dessert both lacked glamour. the venison was very gamy and the biscotti and brownie dessertplatte felt like a simpler. Not as I expected to finish an expensive new-year meal. As for the service, our waiter was not respectless, but we felt like a great inconvenience for him and how he had no geduld for us, although we were only one of some tables in our opposite, not super busy. is worth where we were most disappointed. on their website mentioned the event details wine or cocktails that were not the case. I am grateful that the manager covered our first round, but we felt really misguided.
The preset menu for nye was terrible. the menu was not published online, but we thought it would be good no matter which dishes were served. but we were very wrong. the first two courses were on average good. the third cure had bones in the pasta and then the main course was unusable in the round. the venison was meh, the kartoffels were nasty and sweet, and the mushrooms were slimy and tasteless. the service and the ambiente were very good and our waiter was great, but that didn't make out how bad the food was. I expected much better eating for the price and was very disappointed. I wouldn't come back.
We visited elm and good for nye. at first there were some confusion about the menu “experience” we reserved. the first two courses of the menu were great, but the next two courses were not very good. the Venison-Loin and the mushrooms lacked flavors that produced every real flesh or mushroom taste, but instead the prominent taste of the acrid bitter smoke was. the desserts looked literally like something that could have been pulled by a costco box (no attack on costco as we are fans). tocotti and fudge to serve a special “NYE experience dinner” was not ideal, especially when they pay $125 per person, plus drinks costs. the waiter was by no means rude, but he could have been better. I feel as if the personal knew that the NYE menu was not great when the last thing he said was “Please come back to visit us when we have our normal menu.” the entire nye special opportunity experience was a disappointment. it is unlikely that we will be back.
