Chicken Express - Dallas

I go here for their chicken tenders and cream gravy. It's awesome. Also had fried okra, green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. Their hot rolls melt in your mouth. ????????

Just went to this establishment and I am not happy with the service I received. I place my order quickly which I was happy about only to pay to see I was over charged. I was made to pull up and when my order was brought out I addressed me being over chargedwith Abil only for him to tell me he can?t give me a refund but instead offered me 3 chocolate chip cookies. I asked for anadditional apple pie since I?d just purchased one and the overage that I was charged was equal to that of the apple pie at$1.99. He said he couldn?t give me another pie because there was a 2 minute wait on pies. I asked if mine was in the bag he saidyes. My bag is loaded with boxes after spending $57 here? well guess what I got home and there?s no apple pie. Tried calling thestore but no one answered. Doesn?t surprise me! Be cautious when ordering from this establishment. Shady workers, shadypractices. One star! Stole my money and my pie. Spoiled coleslaw, lukewarm fries, corn nuggets, and chicken. Just close thisplace already!

Last Thursday evening, my daughter, two grandchildren, and I had an outstanding dinner from this restaurant. A super friendly and courteous manager came to our SUV to take our order and personally delivered our hot, fresh, and delicious food, with my change neatly folded in a bag of French fries. We drove home to enjoy our meal, and the food was so hot that it burned our fingers! The rolls were buttery and fresh, and my fried okra was so crispy and delicious that it brought tears to my eyes! Every visit is consistently wonderful, with excellent service and great food, accompanied by small packets of hot sauce, ketchup, and even unseasoned salt! Plus, they serve fantastic fried catfish!

It’s been some time since I last ordered food from here. While I haven't been overly impressed in the past, I have a generally positive view of this place, especially because of the sweet tea. Chicken Express serves some of the best sweet tea you can find in a southern restaurant, and the prices for a large cup or a gallon are very reasonable.
