Excellent across the board. Food, service, atmosphere, and cleanliness. Obviously this place is not a secret as at Sunday brunch time it was very busy. They quoted 30 minutes for a table, but we only waited 10 minutes. Very comfortable atmosphere. Food was great! Will be back!!!!!!
Really delicious breakfast all around! The Borracho Biscuit was super cheesy and creamy but very good. The eggs were a bit bland but that seems normal with breakfast places for some reasons. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. Our server was very friendlyand welcoming, we enjoyed our breakfast here!
I ordered a takeout breakfast for the first time from this restaurant. I placed my order over the phone and was told it would be ready in twenty minutes. When I arrived, the place was incredibly busy, and finding parking was a bit of a challenge. I ended up parking about half a block away at a meter. Once I entered, I waited at the counter designated for DoorDash orders. I understand they were swamped, but I stood there for about five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When I was finally helped, my food was packed up quickly, and I paid and left. Now, about the food—it was absolutely delicious! The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and flavorful. The peppered bacon was savory without being too spicy, and my eggs were cooked perfectly over easy. The oven-baked potatoes were almost better than my own (LOL). I can definitely see why they were so busy. I'll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it! By the way, they have a bar, and I usually enjoy a Bloody Mary with breakfast, but I skipped it this time. I’ll make sure to try their drinks on my next visit!
Make sure to add this restaurant to your must-visit list! We ordered the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which came with a choice of red tomato ketchup or brown gravy — we decided to try both. We also enjoyed the Cobb salad with homemade blue cheese dressing. The salad was packed with large pieces of ripe red tomatoes, fresh avocado, and thick, crispy crumbled bacon. Both dishes were incredible, bursting with flavor and served in generous portions. The restaurant has a charming old neighborhood atmosphere, complete with spacious booths, open-air dining areas, and delightful green awnings lining the tree-lined street.
