The Queens - Dalkey Hill

This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the menu options are quite limited. We started with the prawns, and my partner requested that the chili be served on the side, as he cannot handle it well. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed that the chili was already included in the sauce! My steak was good, but the chips were cold. For dessert, I found the €8.00 charge for a slice of apple cake to be excessive, and when I asked for it to be warmed up, it was still cold when served. While there were plenty of staff members present, the two "managers" didn't seem to provide clear direction. However, the staff members were all very kind.

I ordered tacos, but they arrived cold. I wasn’t informed that all the food was served for a limited time, so I couldn’t order dessert, which was disappointing. My friend who ordered something different said their meal was really good, but the staff kept asking us about our experience.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely.

Unfortunately, it took 2 hours when we ordered to get our main course. we have our starter within 30min of ordering, but main courses came an hour later

A very disappointing experience. Left waiting too long, so we left. Our young server was not very helpful or experienced at all. Was a bit run off ger feet with the place barely half full.
