Contribute FeedbackYo-Mian is a quaint gem, offering a mix of delightful flavors and disappointing service. Many patrons rave about the high-quality ingredients and fresh seafood, particularly the shrimp and scallops, at reasonable prices. The General Tso chicken and spicy miso soup are also favorites. However, not all experiences are positive; slow service and untrained staff have been frequent complaints. Some customers found the lo mein bland and the atmosphere lacking. Overall, Yo-Mian boasts strengths in food quality and cleanliness, making it a potential stop for Asian cuisine enthusiasts, particularly for takeout.
The lo mein lacked flavor and was overpriced for the quality. The mustard lacked the unique taste of Chinese mustard, tasting like basic yellow mustard instead.
We had lunch at this restaurant and it was very busy, so it took a while to get our food. The chicken satay was not what we expected - it was deep fried and did not come with any sauce, which was disappointing. However, the hibachi chicken was good and came in decent portions.
I placed an online order and was told it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. When I arrived about 15 to 20 minutes later, I had to wait an additional 30 to 45 minutes. There was only a child working behind the counter. I had my 9-month-old baby with me, who became hungry and fussy after waiting for so long. Overall, it was a frustrating experience and we will not be ordering from there again.
Excellent food, staff is friendly, the restaurant is very clean. This not a chain restuarant, but a hometown community establishment. Plenty of seating, bring some friends with you.
We are traveling back to FL and we decided to go to Yo Miam. What a treat. The food was fabulous and the prices were insane. The value is off the charts! If you are traveling in this area, do yourself a favor and visit this little gem!????????????
