I went to the restaurant because it was run by a new owner. The food is very sweet, like green onion beef. Jjambbong is good because the fried dumplings are too burnt. And is the person at the kitchen counter at the entrance to the restaurant the chef? It was very kind of me to see it. The kitchen staff should take care of their work in the kitchen. We ate there last night, and I was shocked at the generous portions! Great food and friendly service at a very reasonable price!! We ordered hot sour soup, black bean fish, and mapo tofu for four hungry adults, and we went home with ample leftovers. Meals come with complimentary white rice and steamed knotted rolls. We also received fresh orange slices with sweet potato fritters on the house. No alcohol yet, but they said they should receive their liquor license any day...
Fresh, clean everything from appetizer to main dishes. Courteous manager and servers. My go-to chinese food place. Food was so good that I even forgot to take pictures.
I went for my birthday celebration and I felt very appreciated and taken care of. The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Especially the black bean noodles and the spicy pulled pork with garlic sauce. I live in Westwood but I’m really glad I made the trip to come here to OC to try this place, will definitely come again.
Everything we ordered tasted great and staff was very friendly! will definitely be back, esp for the fried shrimp in hot sauce and hot and sour soup
