This place is a bit out of the way, and by a bit I mean A Lot! It's totally worth the drive if you want great catfish or biscuits and gravy. The catfish was so good in fact that I had to grab an order just to go. Tender and well breaded with spices that tease the senses instead of overwhelming them, each bite just melts in your mouth! Friendly service and reasonably priced. It's too bad I don't live closer because I'll be here on a regular basis.

We had a fantastic breakfast in an area that doesn't offer many options! The service was excellent, the coffee was great, and our food arrived quickly. I especially enjoyed the delicious Wild Western omelette. We were all very pleased before setting off to go fishing. I'm so glad we discovered this spot, and we plan to make it a regular stop before our trips.

I visited Nard's for the first time this evening, and what a discovery it was! I ordered the rib eye special, which came with a baked potato and a vegetable (I chose the broccoli, and it was cooked to perfection). The side salad was also fantastic, featuring real bacon bits, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, and croutons, all in generous portions. I even took some food home with me. Their desserts looked delicious as well. It's definitely worth the drive from Springfield!

I enjoyed a perfectly cooked 14 oz. ribeye, along with a loaded baked potato and macaroni and cheese. Nard's Kitchen is the real deal. I'm definitely going back!
