Ok place seemed clean, he had out ketchup, so he gave me some mayonnaise not loaded as well, ordered chickenburgers and chips, chips, where freshly cooked and very nice, so was the chickenburger, all this please and thank, so was polite and professional wise etc.,. was on himself, but I can see if he had a bad day I seemed to say he had no problem

Worst chippy in England, do not buy food from here. Customer service is terrible. I bought a cod that was cooked in a deep fat fryer out the back of the shop it must have been fried frozen. It was raw and cold under the batter. The chips were soggy with grease. This place needs closing down!!!

My family and I decided to try out this restaurant and ordered a variety of dishes. I opted for the cod, but unfortunately, it was served cold and lacked flavor. After a quick reheat in the microwave, I managed to finish my meal. However, the next morning I woke up with severe stomach cramps and spent the entire day feeling unwell. By evening, I experienced intense discomfort and realized that I had food poisoning. It has been 24 hours and I am still suffering from the aftermath, causing me to miss two days of work. Surprisingly, the rest of my family had no issues, leading me to believe that it was the fish that made me sick. I later discovered that the restaurant had a zero hygiene rating, which is unacceptable. I believe that restaurants should be closed until they meet a minimum hygiene standard and that it should be mandatory for them to display their hygiene rating. I will never eat at a restaurant that does not have their hygiene rating displayed or has a rating of zero. It is simply not worth the risk. Be cautious when dining out.

The food is consistently excellent and the service is friendly. This is the top spot in Hemel to get a satisfying portion of chips. I highly recommend it.
