Shogun Japanese Grill - Cypress

Shogun has been a family favorite in my family for over 10 years if it was 8 to 10 years ago I would have given them for five stars. We have frequented this location for birthdays and they would have the staff come out and sing Happy Birthday and then provide a free dessert .....in the PAST. This time they offered me orange wedges and a cherry as my birthday dessert they didn't sing or celebrate AND they forgot to bring the dessert (not only mine but dessert being ordered from the menu from others) and brought out the check... When they came back they just brought one piece of mochi and disregarded the orders from other guests in my party ?????

Great service and the peach tea was great. The food omg good. It was date night for us and couldn't have picked a better place. There was a bit of a wait but great service.

Got two rolls for lunch and of course they were perfect. And only $17 and some change! Service was outstanding. My glass was never empty.

3/5 of us were sick immediately after eating, and a man who sat against us, had the stomach problem. I know that because he cried about wanting to use the toilet and that I took my time on the toilet (only a toilet). sushi was okay. our eating came fast and the server seemed nice. the atmosphere is good.

The service is friendly and fast. Food is consistently good. Try the Volcano and Shaggy Dog Rolls. You won't regret it.
