What Marcie Casares doesn't like about Posa's El Merendero:
I ordered the combination plate which includes a tamale, a chicken enchilada,, a chili relleno all green with beans and rice . Everything was shoved into one container. Delicious food! I've been here 3 times now to try something different each time! Portions in their hand held burritos are large, 2 meals for me unless it's a post hike meal! Very friendly staff each time I go! Tamales are amazing and spicy!!!I'm in town from Kansas city working for the next 5 months! Can't wait to complete the menu except menudo(not a fan), don't let that stop you from trying it!!
The roast beef enchiladas with red chili flavor and spicy was perfect.
Best tamales around! Be sure to grab a frozen bag to snack on later.
Posas is a local favorite for a reason. Its delicious! Cool to eat and see through the window of the friendly staff making the world renowned Tamales! Great menu with plenty to choose from for all New Mexican taste buds. You can’t go wrong. I love the chimichanga and Posa’s Original Burrito and of course the Pasole!
Been going there for years food is solid good new Mexican food with a Mexican Flair prices are fair can't go wrong. I always get the taco plate with ground beef calabacitas and beans. It's a solid meal basically at the price that you get some chicken McNuggets and a Coke at McDonald's so it's a no-brainer always appreciated.
