There is a variety of food options. The Vegetarian Burger is good but a bit spicy for me. The fries were good and crispy. One does have to wait a bit for the food. There is ample seating inside some outside. View all feedback.
What T W doesn't like about Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Café:
The food is so good so I want to love it but the service is always way too slow at every location, like I get that the food is good but it’s slower than other similar family restaurants that make their food fresh. They also have a single espresso shot available as a whole drink but it’s not even called a shot. So it’s like an ounce of espresso and you think you’re getting a drink. Also, I get that plastic ware is bad... View all feedback.
High vibe blessings place, love the menu highlights dietary needs, dedicated to nurturing Soulful physical self. Yum. Enjoyed Dosa Masala with coconut chutney. Thali plate has good variety. Dosa is light, lots of holes in it, perfect. Hot chai with soy mmmmmmm. Wish more of this restaurant everywhere I travel. Great heart servers.
SO BAD!!! I am so shocked that there are so many good reviews here. This was the worst indian food I've ever had, the daal tasted like canned soup, the samosa was so inauthentic and gross (it tasted like the dough was a boxed sopapilla mix!? . The Lassi was not made in house either. Not even the wrap was good. So disappointing.
I’m not vegetarian, but I still come here because the food is SO GOOD. Lebanese wrap with falafel is my go to. Edit: if you read the negative reviews they genuinely all center around the idea of the “authenticity” of the Indian dishes. This is a valid criticism. But personally I just want good food lol
I 'm not sure where I need to start ,but I think it would be with a basic lesson on Ayurveda, which clearly they know very little about. This restaurant and staff have an air about serving satvic Ayurvedic food, but in reality, the actual dishes one orders don 't even come close toit! I wish I clicked pictures of the food jut to prove what I say but it slipped my rather shocked self after seeing the double over fried samosas and the overfried, limp fries that came along with the burger! The puris looked and tasted terrible, and every dish was overfried! At one point, I just couldn 't stand what a hogwash this place is, and I very politely expressed my concern about how bad, especially the fries tasted. All she did was smile and say okay ! There was no genuine concern ,no attempt to make it better. They definitely didn 't care !They are proud that they bake their own bread but don 't know how to bake! We have been to many restaurants where satvic food is a way of their life and business, but this is nowhere even close to it ! The service was very unfriendly and apathetic. To sum it up, don 't waste your time and money !And here I 'm not even writing about the actual service cos there was none of it .Snooty and distracted staff, rationed paper napkins, unhygienic restroom, and most importantly, terrible food! Nothing ayurvedic or satvic about this place!
If you are looking for Indian food, don’t go there. It’s like take some nice south Indian dish, ruin it and call it “vedic” ”Ayurvedic” etc etc. I am no expert but where in Ayurveda they have fries! Or noodles! Anyway coming to my experience I ordered a dosa which looked like burrito, tasted like the stuffing of vada pav, sambar was like sabzi daal with some sour taste, and most importantly… they don’t know how coconut chutney normally looks or tastes like. I also ordered some kind of fries with cheese which for some reason I thought will be some kind of bhaji with cheese but turns out to be a huge portion of regular fries topped with tomatoes and cheese and a strange “masala” sauce that tastes bitter. It was the most tasteless dish I have ever had. However, the ambience is nice but the way they ruined the dish masala dosa and sambar in the name of terms that most people don’t know much about and the way this fries dish was created is convincing enough for me to never go back to this place again. Waste of money!
