Yiassoo in Cupertino offers a tantalizing menu of Greek cuisine, notably known for its crispy falafel and flavorful gyros. While outdoor seating provides a pleasant dining experience, some dishes fall short; tough lamb and overly dry meats have been noted. The ordering process may seem unconventional, but the generous portions, fresh ingredients, and welcoming ambiance make up for it. Guests laud the cleanliness of the establishment and the friendly service, especially for those seeking a quick lunch or dinner. Overall, Yiassoo is a solid option with highlights amidst occasional inconsistencies.

I tried the falafel and it was absolutely delicious. The gyros were also very good. The process of placing an order over the phone was a bit unusual, but despite ordering many times, they never asked for a name for the order. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the special lamb sandwich that was supposed to include extra cheese and lamb. However, they ended up putting two blocks of feta cheese in the sandwich and the lamb was extremely tough to chew. This meal was definitely one of the worst I've ever had.

We chose to dine at Yiassoo because we were in search of authentic Greek cuisine and we were not disappointed! We ordered a Gyros plate which included a gyro sandwich filled with a delicious mix of beef and lamb seasoned with spices, topped with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, and onions all wrapped in pita bread. It was served with fries (or rice) and a side of Greek salad. The food was excellent, flavorful, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. The salad even had whole Greek black olives which added a nice touch. We enjoyed our meal so much that we were too full to have dinner later on, but that's a good problem to have!

I had the special lamb sandwich which supposedly should come with extra cheese and lamb. They put two blocks of feta cheese in that sandwich and the lamb was super chewy. By far one of the worst meals I’ve had.

I had falafel and it was amazing. The gyros were also good. Ordering over the phone is a little odd though as after ordering ahead many times they have never asked for a name for the order. I would still highly recommend this place though.
