Coming from LA where there are great sushi spots, and having lived in Kyoto, my expectations may have been higher. Overall, I would return if I find myself in the area again. Food: 3/5.

I have never been let down by any dish I've tried. The sushi rolls are generously sized with 8-10 pieces. The wait staff is consistently courteous and attentive.

Sushi tasted fresh enough, but the house specials are where my favorite dishes are. Service kinda depends on where you're seated. If you are sitting behind any tables, be ready to flag down wait staff. Interior is relatively clean, though some areas are a little sticky. It gets busy after 6, so expect to wait if you come after then
