What User doesn't like about Fifty One Chinese Kitchen:
We are no stranger to Chinese food from all regions and very excited for to try Fifty One. The dim sum was overcooked and mushy. Pot stickers where not steamed and then pan fried, they were deep fried and served lukewarm and almost cold. Jasmine pork ribs were also deep fried and smothered in a very odd tasting gooey sauce. Impossible to eat with chopsticks and no extra napkin given to eat with hands. Greeter did not... View all feedback.
Food quality is very good, taste is very tasty, service is excellent
Really tasty Chinese restaurant wowLobster noodle price 15 dollars . Special luv it. Walnut shrimp ? is bomb so good.Definitely coming back
There were a few dim sum offerings . The quality was very middle of the road, not great, not bad. The Hot and Sour soup was definitely off. They had no fried noodles, which surprised me. Overall, the food is ok for a chinese restaurant in other parts of the country, but definitely sub-par for Los Angeles.
The food is delicious. I am especially partial to the Sunday Dim-Sum brunch!I bring or send ALL of my friends here.It has a great, upscale atmosphere...
Second trip here—both excellent. Service very cheerful and attentive but not intrusive. Enjoyed walnut shrimp (not too sweet), beef thinly sliced in tasty noddles with lots of veggies, fun dim sum sampler, and unique red bean buns. Good arrived quickly. It was quiet on a Monday night. Ask for an alcove if you want more quiet, or a table if you like to be in the middle of things. I liked that the price on the menu is the price you were charged with none of the extra fees and surcharges that have become too common. A lovely evening
