Love this place and come here whenever I’m in Cullera. Best Paella I’ve ever had is here, and Raul is a fantastic host. I’m talking about the original Valenciana recipe of course.
We booked a table hoping for some nice food and drinks but it was clear we were not welcome as don’t speak Spanish. The place was empty and Our waiter would not explain dishes to us, stood over us and was rude. We had a drink and left without eating as we felt uncomfortable. One young waiter did speak English but was not allowed to serve us. He looked embarrassed a how the older waiter treated us. We went a 2 minute walk to another restaurant el Timon where the hostess was so friendly and welcoming.
We had the fried calamari which was very great. The garlic langoustines which we very good and an excellent. We also had the mixed chicken and seafood paella which was the best we have had. Even the fries that the boys had were good. Would highly recommend this place. The service was also good.
Perfect view, at the beach. Good and delicious food. The stuff is nice. We had fried calamari, plain fish, french fries and paella.
We always passed this restaurant on our way to the beach and at last we decided to give it a try. The terrace looks so inviting, it's spacious and overlooks the beautiful beach. We had a traditional paella and some seafood tapas. I was quite surprised not to find croquetas on the menu, maybe it was the fisrt Spanish restaurant in my experience not to offer them. The paella was delicious! And though they do not have cocktail menu, they mixed me a cocktail I wanted and it was quite cheap. The service was very efficient and attentive, though 3 parties at once took place there. Paellas kept popping out from the kitchen, each one is bigger than the previous one, and I wonder how they manage to cook everything so quickly while preserving the excellent quality of food. Thumbs up! As far as I remeber they open from 2 pm. Parking is free if you reserve a table in advance, we didn't, so we had to pay for it (not expensive though). I'd recommend this place to everyone who happens to spend a day on the nearest beach it's a good choice for having a copious lunch.
