We went to the restaurant for lunch and left at 2.30pm, with only four out of the six meals we ordered arriving (we placed our order at around 1.20pm). It would have been preferred if they had informed us of the long delay when we placed our order so we could have chosen to dine elsewhere. The interior of the restaurant is outdated. Fish and chips, salad and scallops very fresh, delicious. Fast and friendly service. We got as takeaway. Definitely recommend.
We had a lovely takeaway for lunch, 2 x crumbed flathead, chips salad, hoki, chips and salad, very nice calamari and a double cheeseburger and chips all delicious. Very friendly guy served us. Was a Monday lunch so not too busy. Lunch specials were good value and filling. Highly recommend.
We had an excellent lunch the staff are friendly and nothing is a trouble to them. We shared some fresh king prawns first. The meals were tasty and generous gluten free Vietnamese roll, Thai beef salad, chicken schnitzel salad and schnitzel and chips. I can definitely recommend this cafe .
Came to orient point for a quick weekend away, and was searching for a place for breakfast and coffee on Sunday morning. BBE was open (yay) and in we came. Friendly service, fast delivery and food was great. BLATs and smashed avos, fab fresh juice, and good coffees…. Just what we needed. Smiles all round!
I had travelled 7 hours from Dubbo and was looking for a takeaway meal to have back at the motel early night and then ready for holiday adventures the next day. It was a Monday night and not much was open. I didn’t feel like Chinese or going to the Bowlo so I settled on Burra Eats. The shop is clean and the staff friendly but unfortunately the food is disappointing. I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger and chips and since I was on the coast a couple of fish cocktails. When I got back to the motel and opened the boxed burger and chips I was confronted with the smell of burnt oil. The chicken patty was dried out and burnt and the chips also tasted of burnt oil. I picked at it but it really wasn’t edible. Unfortunately, the cocktail fish were very very fishy with the black skin still on …. and greasy. I decided to just have cheese and biscuits from the car fridge with a glass of wine.
