I had an amazing Sunday lunch at this pub. The standout feature of this place is the staff. They are all very friendly, extremely polite, and efficient with taking orders. Deanna served us and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be coming back.
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. I highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is very clean. The staff was prompt and friendly, and the sundaes were a real treat.
The Plough is my local pub and I typically don't like to leave negative reviews, but I have to say that the food here has been very inconsistent lately. The fish and chips used to be a good choice, but the portion sizes have decreased significantly and now there is more batter than fish. The chicken and ham pie I had yesterday was decent, but the mashed potatoes were dense, the gravy was overly thick, and the vegetables were overcooked. With so many pubs closing down, The Plough really needs to improve their food quality and hire a skilled chef in the kitchen.
We had a lovely waitress Deanna, very friendly, come here often lovely pub nice menu, nice environment would recommend.
