I had my mom´s bday celebration going on for 5 days and El Gusto Cuernavaca was one of the spots we hit in this mini-tour. The place is absolutely gorgeous, totally adored the furniture, the staff, the gardens and the whole experience. What Ștefan Dascalu doesn't like about Gusto:
My wife, sister-in-law, and I went for breakfast. The atmosphere is very nice--the garden is pretty and two men were playing marimba. Service started slowly--the server offered us coffee, chocolate, or juice, and we got some of the free sweet rolls offered on Sundays, but...then we had to ask for the menu to order our meal. It was very good. Service was excellent but not extraordinary. Red snapper flavorful but over cooked. Beautiful ambiance.
The food and service was all one could ask when dinning out. Music was an added bonus during our meal.
Nice place, the menu is great and the food is exquisite, only drawback is that, although there are many waiters, the service is quite slow,
We went to Gusto from a friend's recommendation and it was very good lunch. Very nice bread and totopitos to have with a delicious bean sauce, the escamoles (contained eggs) are very good here, then we ordered soups, a delicious very light black bean, chicken...and rice soup and also the chicharron and nopal was very good. All our main courses were very good Beautiful atmosphere We go back!
En Cuernavaca no había encontrado un lugar tan bello y con tan buen servicio. Nos atendieron de maravilla, nos prepararon un postre especial (se debe reservar antes) que es delicioso, sí, pero más importante: es una experiencia culinaria nueva y escasa en el país. Los alimentos son de buena calidad, pero no brillan por sí mismos todo lo demás los opaca. Los precios son elevados. La atención es muy buena. Sus eventos especiales cuentan que son geniales. Cuando puedan, dense el lujo.
