It is more hype tha... read more This is a very small but truly cozy eatery reportedly “specializing” in waffles (savory and sweet) BUT IT IS AVERAGE TO VERY DISMAL WAFFLES. It is more hype than substance. this is a conclusion by at least two visits by friends and I. The menu is a hand written black board posted on the wall by the entrance it’s mainly a “made to order” waffles. There’s also a very short listing of toasts and bagels, which have similar egg protein choices and light garnishes. The waffles are prettier than they taste. They are a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Both Yucca and Verde “waffles” are SOGGY, and DISINTEGRATES WHEN THEY ARE LIFTED as the do not retain their shape. the Verde is worst than the Yucca. the Verde is like a FLAVORLESS UNSEASONED FLATTENED BOLON . it should be mentioned that there’s several other places that in fact outstanding Bolon. “Waffles” themselves are FLAVORLESS UNSEASONED ;EATABLE ONLY WITH THE FRIED EGGS and the avocado slides. Also, the Tocino (bacon) is really more of a very thin strip of over processed ham. The coffee however is the redemption of this little eatery. Service is okay.
