Origami - Cuenca

I tried the vegan sweet potato and avocado sushi at this restaurant, and it was delicious. There was also another vegan option available, but avocado lovers will be happy here. The restaurant is small and cozy, with friendly service and a good variety of drinks.

We had a great lunch at this restaurant. They had a good selection of vegetarian and vegan sushi options on the menu. When we asked about tempura, the server (who turned out to be the owner) informed us that they didn't have it and asked if we were vegan. We were happy that he understood what that meant and proceeded to order two types of sushi rolls. The tempura sushi roll was especially delicious, with the addition of edamame adding a nice touch. The prices were a bit high compared to other places in Ecuador, but it was understandable given the quality of the ingredients. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but it was freshly made to order and well worth it. Our only suggestion would be for them to provide spicier wasabi for those looking for that extra kick.

The restaurant was fantastic with a wide variety of food options and the dishes were delicious.

I had sushi delivery of Origami last night and it was excellent! Fresh, delicious and great service! Will definitely order again.

I ate sushi and this place was it. Directly on Calle Larga and this small cozy place with about 2 tables. But the sushi here was so fresh, so good, reasonable price and definitely recommended to have sushi. Only what they do not accept cards so cash only, that was not a problem for us because we both do. only one head high
