El Mercado - Cuenca

Loved this place, has beautiful decor which I fell in love with, amazing service and exceptional food. We were very satisfied both visual and tasteful.

Excellent atmosphere and exquisite dishes

The best restaurant in Cuenca, without a doubt, and for me the second best in Ecuador after the Carmine in Quito.

Always in the standards of excellence, although sometimes in season it is filled with tourists and there is no quota. Excellent selection of wines, not only in the letter but if chosen to delight, we try two a Gewurztraminer for the damites and a red Reserva Carmenere Mapu, Barón Rothschild, excellent. The first meal, we order several dishes but the T-Bone worthy of a barbarian in size, soft and at the correct term, we could taste the freshness of the meat, the second the lamb's lamb, in the same way excellent! Attention is not said to be personalized and gentle. Thanks, Roberto!
