The website clearly indicated that the restaurant was open, but when I arrived, the door was unlocked. However, a staff member turned me away and told me to come back at 4 PM. I'm not local and had made a special trip just to be disappointed. They really need to update their online information! View all feedback.
I tried Cuckfish for the first time last night, and the food and service were excellent. They've certainly gained a new regular customer! I highly recommend it.
The chips I had were the best I've ever tasted. The service was not only friendly but also quick!

The fish is good, a nice light crisp batter. The chips are ok. Curry sauce is Devine. Generous portions. However I can’t justify £19.35 for a ref haddock/chip/curry sauce side given the pub a few doors down sells a full sit down meal for £17.50. In short, good food but it costs silly money.
