**Dining Experience at Moonwinks: A Mixed Bag**
Moonwinks is currently navigating a transitional ownership phase, which has led to varied dining experiences. While some patrons rave about its Seafood Thursday and the enticing Friday night buffet, others express disappointment over bland dishes and inconsistent service. Positive reviews highlight appetizing meals and attentive staff, contributing to a warm atmosphere. However, some diners reported issues like being charged for unsatisfactory meals, leaving them unsatisfied. With reviews oscillating between praise and frustration, the evolving restaurant seems to hold potential, yet it may need time to fully realize its new vision under management.

Moonwinks is a fantastic spot for an adult drink. The bartender, Alisha, is a wonderful bonus, both charming and engaging. I didn’t try the food, but the bar experience was excellent!
My husband And I finally went to moonwink’s for dinner since the new ownership. We were not big fans of our previous Moonwink’s experiences, but I’m so glad we gave it another chance. The stuffed haddock special was absolutely delicious, made to perfection. The service was incredibly efficient and Rachel was extremely helpful with all of our questions. Her recommendations were spot on and her personality really made our experience wonderful. We will definitely be returning this Summer for Rachel’s excellent service and the phenomenal food!
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and overall, I would rate the food a solid 4 stars. However, I ordered a medium burger, and unfortunately, it was overcooked.
This is our second visit to Moonwinks and really have enjoyed it both times and this visit was our mutual birthday dinner for my wife and I, as our birthdays are only 5 days apart. We ordered the cured bacon as an appetizer and it was simply spectacular. Such a wonderful beginning to a great meal. I also enjoyed a crock of their luscious french onion soup with melted gruyere cheese, which was absolutely perfect. Then we went on to our entrees. The wife had the salmon and I had the delmonico steak special. Both were done as requested perfectly and seasoned well, but not overly so as were the sides of mixed vegetables and the mashed potatoes. Everything very well prepared and presented beautifully. We have to say that the only downside was we were seated in the back room, which looked like an event space, and... as we're older, we go to dinner early and and we were the only ones in the room. It felt a bit odd, but nonetheless, it did not take away from the experience and the food. The wait staff was exemplary and the place is Very clean and tidy. Have to definitely say 4 stars. The only downside was it is a bit pricey for western new york, but all in all, well worth expense.
