The SukiyaI visited is located at La Diana near the Diana Fountain. About eight minutes walk from the hotel I stayed at. When I first went I was able to dine in. But within one walk all orders were to carry which was truly...sad. At times you want to dine out not buy and carry. There is a curry dish with chicken cutlets I tried.the Teri Katsu, Tara bucket fried chicken, and a few other dishes. Unless the drink is special I suggest you can pick up your own choice of fruit drinks at one of the convenience shops like Oxxo, K Central, etc. Thankfully this place was opened on Christmas Day. None of the regular food street vendors were around that day.

If you want to experience what eating instant ramen in Japan is then this is pretty much on the spot. Don't expect it to be good.

What this restaurant lacks in Japanese authenticity it makes up for inventive dishes and food quality. It is fusion cuisine mixing Mexican spicy ingredients with all the Japanese classics like ramen, donburi, etc. Loved their ninja sauce (I mixed it with the rice). They have...a server call button which at busy times I had to ring twice, but no complaints there; the only criticism is that there is only one sink to wash hands (between the two restrooms) and in a small corridor, so waiting for your turn while dodging toilet users was not fun. Overall an enjoyable experience.

One dish had hair in the soup and another dish the meat came out frozen. What more can i say... how can it go that wrong.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant featuring Japanese food. The food was a great value and very filling, and the staff was excellent. A great place when you want something different from the local fare.
