Was Anonym at Rokai a mag?
came for the rams, stayed for the sushi. this place is two places in one. rokai Ramen-Ya is the ramenplatz and rokai is the Sushi Square. they can order from both. I didn't expect much of this restaurant. first I thought it was on the Pricier page for cdmx after the view of the menu, but the Sushi quality justifies the cost. I ordered saba makrele, chutoro and toro nigiris. I also had the spicy thunfishes and the kai... View all feedback.

Need to come back again for Ramen, but the Sushi is one of the best. Highly recommend.
The flavor and attention to detail was on par to Japan. They have great bouncy noodles, the soup has great deep flavor, they use tare unlike other ramen places in the are. The meat was great on both the to katsu ramen as well as the dandan mapo. The meat was tender and the far was soft, in tact still and full of flavor. We also ordered the karaage and you can taste the ginger they marinaded it in! That was inpressive. The price was a bit high but worth it.

I don’t know how anyone could complain about the service. We went there for dinner last night and had some of the best service we’ve had in Mexico City. We sat outside as we weren’t quite sure if we’d want the ramen since they only serve it on the patio when you sit at the izakaya side. Sure glad we did as we shared several appetizers and finished with a ramen recommended by our server. He noticed we were sharing everything and without us even asking he had the ramen split into two bowls for us. Now THAT’s great service, anticipating your guests needs before they even ask! The appetizers were fantastic we had a delicious karaage chicken which I devoured. Their eel roll was outstanding but the piece de resistance had to be the ramen. My wife said it was the best ramen she’s ever had. We’re seriously contemplating coming back tonight! Highly recommend trying the Shochu Sour from their cocktail list. My wife thoroughly enjoyed hers and I had their house sake which was mild yet complex and went well with the food.

This restaurant needs a lot of work. Where should I start... Half the restaurant was empty (Five tables available) on a rainy Sunday and as we are walking in, a waiter (as they walk away) just tell us we cannot walk in and have to wait in the rain to be seated. We wait in the rain and nobody approaches us. Two employees are in the back, one behind the sushi bar, and the rest walking around. Nobody even acknowledges that we are still waiting. We walk in and sit down since we are getting soaked and apparently are invisible. Someone then approaches us and scolds us for sitting down without table assignment. I apologize and ask if we should move tables, the waiter (Alejandro) says that it's fine and we can sit there, but and just keeps walking. After waiting 5 or so mins nobody approaches us. So I ask a passing employee if we can get menus, they drop them by and walk away. I realize there is no ramen in the menu, and ask another passing employee (bare in mind that they ARE NOT busy, they simply are not attentive) if we can order ramen or if that's only available in the other side of the restaurant, he says it's no problem and we can and keeps walking. It's as if these guys just have never stopped and spoken to a customer. I finally flag the original waiter, Alejandro, down again and ask for the Ramen menus and let him know we'd also like to order a drink. He (angrily) says that we cannot order Ramen here, and I interrupt to explain that his colleague just said we could. He gets very upset and comments that I should not interrupt him and that he was explaining it to me. I apologize, and he says it can only be ordered from one of the two (occupied) outside tables because of the odor of ramen. I say that's no problem can we move to that empty bench outside and order. He claims it's reserved. I gave up on having a conversation as the attitude of everyone we spoke to was terrible. I asked for a manager, Mauricio, just to share the feedback so that someone else didnt have the same experience we did. He listened, but didnt offer any solution and was perfectly fine with us leaving.
Best Ramen in town, that was the reason we visited, but overall was an amazing experience, great food, reasonably priced
This place is my go-to ramen shop. The Tan Tan ramen is the perfect amount of spicy flavor. Pair that with their Mexican sake and some edamame. You can’t go wrong.
We celebrated our anniversary my boyfriend and I. Was an amazing experience we make a reservation on Omakase and out happily. The courses we're insane with those flavors and quality We want to back! The check was around 3500 and 4k with tip (you could spend less because we're an alcoholics hahaha). Don't forget the tip guys
