When we arrived at the restaurant in the early afternoon, we were the only patrons who surprised us about the reviews and what we should expect. we were further concerned if the menu provided none of the foods that discussed the reviews. to add our minds after we sat, the waiter took about 15 minutes to get us menus. eating took some time to arrive; about 30 minutes. but when we took our first bites, we had no complaints and eaten our meals. two in our party had chicken enchiladas (enchiladas gratinas,) which they enjoyed and felt were more authentic than they had in other restaurants in the city. there was a choice of red or green sauce; both were tasteful. they ordered a side of back beans and tortillas that they also liked and felt freshly prepared. we also had chilaquiles with green sauce, enchiladas with choorizo and crema (pipil,) and fideo seco. the food was excellent. my man grew up eating fideo and said it was the best he had eaten. the restaurant is small, with a seating area in free. cute interieur and very clean. it was a slower start to the meal, but we had no regret and highly recommend this restaurant.
