What Arthur H doesn't like about Pizza Amore:
We should have realized that the fact that waiters eating chips at the bar rather than the restaurant's products was a tip-off. The pizza is not worth eating. And the service is quite lackadaisical. A glass of wine was not delivered for an interminable period of time. I am sorry we stopped here. The only reason we did was that it was close to our apt and pizza sounded good. Big mistake. The service was outstanding from our waiter who was patient, friendly and very efficient. Sushi was surprisingly tasty and being from hawaii we know good sushi! We also tried the pollo de pechuga al a plancha which was also done well. the pizza was good as well. we had a basic pepperoni pizza. the atmosphere is welcoming and lively. there was a live band playing when we got there. the place is right across a lovely park. overall we had a great experience at this little warm and friendly restaurant, definitely would go back and would recommend!
I’m Italian and I’m really picky on Italian cuisine. Pizza also is a huge deal when it comes to eat a good one. I found this place roaming for a place to eat with my husband and I wanted to give it a go. Not bad, the staff is careful with customers and serves right away. We ordered two national beers, a pizza 4 formaggi and a chicken breast. Portions are enough, beer is cold, and the plus is the view on the Bellas Artes park. The pizza was ok but should have larger topping and if it’s a 4 cheese, there have to be 4 cheese, not two but was good. The structure is made of recycled containers which is cool and makes the spot airy. They also have a large list of drinks, have a sushi bar, and a decent list of pizza. The WiFi is strong and you can easily work from here, better than most of the Starbucks here in the center.
This is the very first of Pizza Amore Chain, serving local people for pretty some time now, good option after going to one the may clubs
The entire meal was disgusting to the point where we could barely eat it. It arrived squashed and did not look good. It tasted far worse. The base was sweet, the tomato was tasteless and tasted artificial and the cheese was revolting. It tasted of nothing and was one of the worst pizzas ive ever eaten. The salad was leaves and a bit of apple and blue cheese, lifeless. I know it is new years eve but this meal was beyond a joke and i expect a refund. We are all still hungry.
