T... read more My husband and I visited this place for lunch. We couldn't decide what to eat, so we went for several entrees and main dishes to share. The food is exquisite. The place is nicely decorated and the service was excellent. Portions are smaller but with great taste.

Thanks to a reservation made days earlier, our table was in the room where the li... read more We were greeted upon arrival and seated immediately for an 8 p.m. reservation. Thanks to a reservation made days earlier, our table was in the room where the live music played. Wait staff was attentive and courteous and very professional. Appetizers were yummy but a bit on the small side but in all fairness with appetizers you just never know. The mojitos were nicely prepared and an abundant wine selection was available. Our food was very tasty and served nice and hot. One thing that for me personally was an unexpected treat was that I saw no children and sometimes you just want a nice adult oriented dinner venue. Nothing against kids, I have a family but adults are entitled to an adult evening from time to time. Now for the music. All I can say is WOW. The room had the perfect acoustics and these guys were amazing. People were dancing and the wait staff was masterful at waving in and out of couples dancing. If you like the Cuban music from yesteryear, this is the place for you. The grand finale was having them sing Las Mananitas for me and bringing a personalized treat with my name to the table (cheesecake). To all at La Bodega: well done.
