I've never eaten so bad in my whole life. the flesh was burned, too salty, hard and chewing like the sole of the shoe. we couldn't finish the mixed plate. if this was a vegetarian conspiracy to keep me away from meat, well done.

This place offers exotic meat that I would say is quite unusual. we were there for the insects, we ate alacran, chapolines, sal de gusanos, hormigas, cocopache. it was all very beautifully presented. I never thought I could eat that, but I conquered mine. the wall tasted good. arta like chicharon con limon

As soon as they enter the marketplace san juan ernesto pugibet, they meet the normal, local and unusual. el gran cazador is one of the small, sitting places they find on the back of the market, and is worth visiting. the menu is...various with very unusual means of living of maguey guisanas (wurms and different sorts), other insect-based appetizers. then the exotic meats (as burgers) are a certain choice. the burgers are very tasty, large, served on multi-grain rolls with salat leaves and with fries, and they can choose everything from outside to lion. on the market this is the place to go.

Several locations but we visited this one in San Juan mercado (which is incredible in itself). We sampled ants, grasshoppers, worms and had lunch of mixote and salad. It was quite the experience. We skipped the lion...lol...seriously they sell it!
