We live close to here and visit often, there is an amazing selection of tacos. Start with the Chicharrón de queso and try their range of salsas, something for every spice level. Be careful to check when ordering how big some of the items are as the faroladas for example are massive! Just had lunch at Farolito with friends who recommended his place and I was rather disappointed.The taco meats were mostly dry, burned and not very flavorful, the torillas lacked flavor and the salsas could do with more spice. The grilled onions did not seem very fresh and everything lacked the typical bold flavors that I am used to in Mexican food.Service was ok, but there are much better, more local, places in Mexi... Casual, neighborhood taco place. Casual, with generous, tasty portions. Nothing fancy, good service. It does the job.
I would no doubt stopping by at El Farolito Anh time I want to have some good, fast, real tacos. Mind due the place is indeed no frills, so there is nothing fancy about it
Tasty and well priced for the upscale neighbourhood. Tacos and Tortillas are tasty and come fast and furious. Drinks by single or pitcher. Good for families and larger groups... Good luck and enjoy.
