Simply spectacular the best Greek restaurant in mexiko the oktopus is the top 3 of the best in the world all other dishes are incredible from the tzatziki to the baklava this place is most in Mexico City
Coming here was an honest mistake. in the rule I would suggest to stay away from the international kitchen in Mexico City. I have torn some familiar aromen and this place was just a disappointment.
After reading some reviews I was curious and visited this place last week. small restaurant, a little cramped (terrible toilets, mini size). friendly service and eating was simply ok. had a Greek salat and moussaka. small, high prices. not sure if I will visit...again
The restaurant has made a good work to our impression of a typical Greek restaurant white color, blue accent rounded corners, arches, dining corner, blue table linen, blue bed linen serviettes, soft Greek background music. to a good start. the service started. pita brot and tzatziki. tzatziki was a decent version. ordered a 1/2 carat house white, which was served in a beaten old tin pot. has ordered a saganaki to share. our idea of a decent, in which a gravitera or similar cheese, fried, then flambé on the table and lemon after and yes there are many variations on this. what came was a local cheese in small balls deep roasted. no flame, no lemon. good that there were additional tzatziki to support the taste. next we shared a Greek salate. It was okay. Feta pieces, tomato, olive, gurke, cut twill and a carafe with olive oil to drop. next was the moussaka. béchamel, ground beef, auberginen over carrots with some carrots. lots of meat, easy after taste. overall we had the feeling that it was a less than average meal, price reasonable, washroom ok, service sufficient, cards accepted.
We, four friends went here for lunch. The menu has the typical Greek dishes one is the keftedes. I ordered it but what came to the table had nothing to do with Keftedes, they lacked everything that makes a meatball Keftedes. There were no bread...crumbs, mint, cinnamon in the meat and it was served with a cubic centimeter of tzatziki in stead of the more traditional tomato sauce. The pita's were made with minced meat instead of the grilled chunks of pork or chicken and lacked a handful of oregano. Although the food was tasty I was disappointed that there was nothing really Greek in there, I suspect the cooks have never been in Greece. The only really authentic was the music, I adored it and we had a very pleasant lunch altogether.
