This restaurant has a nice appearance overall. The menu has a good selection of dishes. I opted for the lamb ragu, but found that there was too much sauce for the amount of pasta, and it could have used a bit more pepper. My husband ordered the vongole spaghetti, which had a generous portion and was very tasty. However, we both felt that the prices were a bit high compared to other Italian restaurants in Central Lond... View all feedback.
What Applemanic doesn't like about Bagattis:
Quite a large restaurant with some tables outside for al fresco dining. The menu choices are reasonable but not extensive. Not in the same class as the Ponte Nuevo further up the street. There are 2 hour roadside parking spaces but you need to be lucky to get one. The waiters were kind and obliging but service was slow and not particularly attentive. Portion sizes were generous. Altogether average Italian, surrounded... View all feedback.
Visited Bagattis last night with friends for the first time in while. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was faultless. Would happily recommend the whole experience
I met up with a friend for a delightful dinner at Bagatti's. The staff were friendly, patient, and attentive, regularly checking in on us throughout the meal. We opted for the set menu, which offered a variety of options. For starters, we enjoyed calamari, followed by lamb shank and prawn linguine for our mains, and finished off with profiteroles. The entire meal, along with a glass of wine, came to around £38. Despite not having visited in years, Bagatti's impressive longevity in Croydon speaks to the consistently high quality of their food and service. My experience was just as excellent as I remembered, and I won't wait as long to return next time.
Our go to restaurant for first class food service. Never disappoints. Always superb. Perfect setting for a romantic dinner. 10/10 every time.
Went with 15 friends on Friday evening. Very busy so hard for staff to keep up the pace on drinks etc. The food was fabulous. There was some left on a couple of plates but not for want of trying to eat it. For starters we had sharing platters. Delicious . Those who had pudding said it was the best the had ever had. Well done
Such a disappointing and expensive visit. Starter with roasted hazelnut...no nuts. Main with king prawn...no prawn. Service brusque and reactive. Nobody asked how our food was (or we would have told them...meh). £90 for 2x2 courses and a glass of wine. As much as they cd do to look up and say goodbye as we left. Never again
